Water Factory

Manufacturing and other industries use water during the production process for either creating their products or cooling equipment used in creating their products. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), industrial water is used for fabricating, processing, washing, diluting, cooling, or transporting a product. Water is also used by smelting facilities, petroleum refineries, and industries producing chemical products, food, and paper products. Large amounts of water are used mostly to produce food, paper, and chemicals. Adapted from cdc.gov

Water Treatment

ImageCredit: Konstantin   Water treatment   is any process that improves the   quality   of   water   to make it appropriate for a specific end-use. The end use may be   drinking , industrial water supply,   irrigation , river flow maintenance, water recreation or many other uses, including being safely returned to the environment. Water treatment removes   contaminants   and undesirable components, or reduces their concentration so that the water becomes fit for its desired end-use. This treatment is crucial to human health and allows humans to benefit from both drinking and irrigation use. Adapted from Wikipedia
